A Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor is required to hold the Microsoft Office Specialist Master certification for Microsoft Office and obtain credentials that satisfy instructional experience requirements.

Recently, Microsoft announced that over 500,000 Microsoft Office Specialist certificates have been issued since 1997 and more than 5,000 Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor certificates have been issued since July 2001.
